Caregiver Support
Children grow best when their caregiver(s) are actively engaged in the process. If your child is my individual client, their therapy sessions will always focus on their needs and growth. At the same time, I view caregiver involvement as a crucial part in creating genuine change.
Caregiver support creates space for you to learn tools and gain perspective that helps you show up for your child in the most effective way. We will practice strategies that help your child build resilience and create consistency between what happens in the therapy space and at home.
For teens, this support often centers around helping caregiver(s) navigate the push for independence while maintaining connection and open communication.
My intention is to provide a space where caregivers feel supported in their role and children feel understood, so that growth can happen both individually and within the relationship.
