About Me

I am a queer-identified, trauma informed licensed psychotherapist offering therapy services in Illinois & Oregon.

I offer relational and humanistic therapy for individuals across all ages.

My work is a devotion to creating space that honors the full complexity of who you are by being collaborative, affirming, and anchored in radical connection. I work with those navigating through trauma, neurodivergence, OCD, phobias, panic & anxiety disorders, depression, insomnia & related sleep concerns, stress, explorations related to identity and self-expression and life transitions. I offer therapy exclusively through remote sessions.

I am a social worker at heart. My early clinical work in residential foster care and inpatient hospital settings shaped much of who I am in my practice, and as a human. This is where I learned the power of attunement, relational repair and meeting people in the midst of complex transition. My earlier experiences in the field grounded my understanding of trauma, attachment systems, and resilience, and continues to inform the work I do today.

Beyond the therapy room, I serve as a court appointed special advocate (CASA) for youth in foster care, advocating for their stability and sense of belonging. I am also a sound meditation facilitator and love intersecting this work into my therapeutic practice.

When I’m not working, you can usually find me in my garden, exploring in nature, or listening to vinyl.

As a white cisgender woman, I remain in constant practice in examining how power and privilege live in my body, in my work, and in the world. I move with the intention to unlearn, to disrupt & to reimagine the systems in our society that cause harm.

I acknowledge that my practice rests on the traditional lands of the Ojibwe, Odawa, Potawatomi, Multnomah, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Chinook, Tualatin Kalapuya, and Molalla peoples. I honor their stewardship, resilience, and the ongoing impact of colonization.

Values

Curiosity as a Compass

I believe that connecting with ourselves starts with getting curious about our inner world, our patterns, our pain and our resilience. When we approach ourselves with curiosity instead of judgment, something powerful can open up.

Liberation & Justice

My practice is built on the belief that personal healing is connected to collective liberation. I aim to actively resists oppressive systems and center folxs dignity and agency.

Embodied Healing

We hold a whole lot of information in our bodies; stories, stress, survival strategies. Therapy can bring us back into relationship with our bodies in a way that feel safe and empowering, while moving at a pace that honors the nervous system.
