Child & Adolescent Therapy

guiding young people through growth, change & self-discovery

I work with children, adolescents and young adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, phobias, panic, trauma, and the uncertainty that can pair with life's transitions.

Young people are far more insightful and capable than they are often given credit for, and I aim to show up so that they feel sincerely seen and safe enough to share their experiences.

In the therapy room, we will work towards developing skills that support emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and increase confidence in navigating challenges at home, at school and in everyday life. Therapy can be an intentional container to build a relationship with their emotions, practice new ways of responding and move closer towards authentic expression.

Additionally, I center evidence-based practices with expressive arts, play, games, movement, and meaningful conversation. Since I currently provide therapy through a virtual platform, I bring in interactive and creative tools that help children and teens remain connected and actively involved throughout our work together.

Caregiver involvement is an important part of the therapeutic process. I strive to strengthen family relationships by prioritizing connection and collaboration, while also respecting the privacy and growing independence of the young people I work with. I hold that balance and space with care and integrity.

Adolescents & Teens

We’ve been there… being a teenager can feel messy, intense, meaningful, and full of change. As a therapist, I often witness teens oscillating between wanting independence and still needing support, between figuring out who they are and feeling the pressure of who they’re expected to be. With bodies changing, brains developing, relationships shifting and emotions running high, it can feel like a lot all at once.

I am committed to creating a therapy space with patient curiosity, where teens can define success on their own terms, and build tools that support their growth and resilience. I want this to be a place where they can authentically explore who they are and what they are moving toward in life.

LGBTQIA+ Youth

Many of the children and teens I work with are discovering and trying on language that bring them closer to themselves through gender, sexuality, asexuality, and sexual orientation. Every young person deserves the freedom to explore who they are without fear of being made smaller for their truth.

I offer an affirming, justice centered space for children, teens, and their families to move through schools, healthcare, and their communities with greater safety, agency & belonging. My hope is that every young person leaves with a stronger sense that they do not have to shrink to be worthy of care.
